Have you ever thought about traveling the world for your wedding? Well you CAN! It’s definitely more obtainable than most think when you do the traveling part right! Feel free to check out our other blog posts and contact us if you want to know how you can do that!

This beautiful wedding on the island of Santorini in Greece was an absolute gem. For this wedding we only did the videography but it was a dream for the couple.

Oh and did I mention they did a trash the dress shoot at the end by JUMPING IN A POOL! But I’ll get to that in a second. The day started out perfect with getting all of our gear setup for this shoot which was very relaxing considering where we were 😄. This is just one of the setups we use to capture your wedding.

The day started out with the getting ready, the fun, and a surprise! With that, we started getting into a letter reading with vows. Some couples prefer to do this privately vs doing it at their ceremony or sometimes couples will do both a letter ready and also personal vows for a ceremony. We don’t have a specific recommendation other than doing your own personal vows. This makes your ceremony more meaningful and sentimental to you when you get to hear them back in your film as a memory.

Don’t judge the video quality to hard, it was taken with a phone and had to be downsized to fit online 😆

The really cool part with destination weddings is that they don’t come with a lot of the stress of a larger more traditional wedding at home. You don’t have to worry about 200+ people waiting on your for a ceremony, rather just a few friends and family that will probably forget what time it even is. So here, they were able to relax and take their time getting ready since the only thing we were racing was a sunset (like 8 hours away). But the view that they had for the ceremony was incredible.

During the ceremony, they had an amazing live singer who I highly recommend to anyone going to Santorini. The live singer was: Louis Vlachakis – https://www.facebook.com/louisvlachakis

This was the perfect addition to the wedding to have some music playing both before and after the ceremony as well as the walking down the aisle songs and much more. It added a great atmosphere to the ceremony and reception.

For the reception, the singer also stayed for that but they also had the same view with a glass patio for an amazing dinner and reception space. This is a great space to spend with your friends, family, do some dancing, and have some fun. Also once it turns night time, it adds that really awesome vibe to the day. Surprisingly it got a little chilly at night but it warranted a nice cozy end to the night (and a jump in the pool).

Now the moment you have all been waiting for! Both the bride and groom decided to JUMP IN THE POOL with the wedding attire one. Now you may ask, How do you get the dress home? They ended up just drying it off and packing in back in their bags to make it home. To be fair, you wont be wearing it again anytime soon so you have plenty of time to get it cleaned if needed.

See you on the next one 😄
